My name is Nolan Butel, and I’m a freelance graphic design art director. After training in graphic design and specializing in art direction, I gained experience working in both agencies and on the client side, two experiences that shaped my approach and sharpened my eye before I launched my freelance practice.

In 2024, I founded NB Studio with a clear goal: to collaborate with brands and creative teams to create graphic designs that reflect their identity and visually convey their story. The studio is a space for experimentation, where each project explores different possibilities before finding the right visual solution. Experimental in approach, rigorous in execution: that’s the perspective I bring to every project.
